Senior Occupational Therapist
Part-time or full-time position
Guidestar provides positive behaviour support, therapy and support coordination services for adults and children with cognitive impairment and complex support needs. We also offer a counselling clinic and training division.

Your role will be to deliver high level, evidence-based clinical advice and professional services to persons living with a disability, families, and providers. Through applying evidence-based approaches the position will reduce the impact of challenging behaviour, reduce restrictive practices and improve quality of life for the people we serve.
We are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of people with cognitive impairment with complex support needs through the provision of evidence-based, trauma-informed, individualised behaviour assessment and support. We are a registered NDIS provider with significant experience in government and community-based services. Our team is diverse and transdisciplinary with qualifications, specific training, and practical experience in Psychology, Social Work, Disability, Community Services, Mental Health and Forensic services. Our practitioners have a strong passion for supporting people with disability/mental health, their families and supporters.
